Over 31,000 Dead After Biden’s First Week...

Biden’s first week in the White House recorded 31,000 deaths due to the coronavirus. Meanwhile, NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci said that wearing two masks “just makes common sense.”

According to John Hopkins University’s statistics, about 31,180 Americans died due to complications brought about by COVID-19 during the president’s first week in the office.

During Biden’s inauguration, the country suffered 397,611 deaths due to the coronavirus. A week later, the US topped 400,000 COVID-19-related deaths, summing up 428,791 deaths across the country.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said on Wednesday that the US death toll due to the coronavirus might reach over 500,000 by February 20.

Meanwhile, President Biden’s chief medical adviser Dr. Fauci suggested the idea of wearing two masks – one on top of the other – during his interview with TODAY host Savannah Guthrie.

On Monday, when asked by Guthrie whether he believes in “double-masking” as a more effective solution to prevent the spread of the virus, Fauci said, “If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it would likely be more effective and that’s the reason why you see people either double-masking or doing a version of an N95.”

We wonder if this would also apply to the president who has been caught violating his own mask mandate several times after signing his executive order.

The president has previously claimed to anticipate the worsening of the COVID-19 pandemic in the months ahead.

“Things are going to continue to get worse before they get better,” Biden said, adding that he is expecting a “dark winter” of COVID-19 cases and deaths.
