A particular celebrity is being roasted online for seeking help from police authorities after rallying to defund its budget.

It is rumored that Alyssa Milano, an actress and political activist called 911 Sunday morning when she believed a gunman was on her property.

Ironically, Milano has been an active supporter of the Defund the Police movement, a call to reduce the budget of the police force, which sparked after the deaths of several Black people under police custody.

Nonetheless, police authorities were quick to respond to the 911 call, including seven Ventura County Sheriffs’ vehicles, a police helicopter, one K-9 unit, and a Los Angeles Fire Department team.

DailyMail.com has obtained exclusive photos of the first responders to Alyssa Milano’s opulent five-bed, six-bath, 8,000 square foot, $2.5 million home in the Bell Canyon.

“We first noticed the helicopter circling overhead very low and knew something was going on. It’s usually such a quiet community.” said a neighbor to Dailymail.com. “Then we saw all the police cars parked in front of Alyssa’s home. They had their guns there ready and seemed very serious,” continued the neighbor.

The actress cum political activist was with her husband, Dave Bugliari, at the time of the incident.

According to the news outlet, the couple apparently told 911 that the sound of gunshots “scared their dogs” and “made them feel like the gunman was near the area.” The suspect was described as a male, about 40-years-old, and with a long rifle.

Police authorities concluded the search and dubbed the incident Squirrelgate. It turned out that the suspect was a teen with an airgun shooting at squirrels.

The online community wasted no time bashing the actress after sidestepping from her recent tweets of #DefundThePolice and then called them when she felt she actually needed them.

Surely, social media is, most of the time, unforgiving to celebrity hypocrites.

According to Fox News, the outspoken actress belied the claims, saying a neighbor was the one who first called 911.

However, she also said that her husband called the emergency hotline to ask when the responders would arrive. The statement clearly meant that the couple still needed the police authorities, after all.

Milano said that she never called the police, but also claimed she would, had she seen the armed man in her backyard.

By then, Alyssa Milano would have dialed 911, and police authorities would still respond with the same amount of force. That is if police defunding would be scrapped.
